The PowerDirector 20 patch update for users with a perpetual license (Ultra, Ultimate) has been released. Install this patch to update PowerDirector to build 20.0.2506.
Note: this patch is not for PowerDirector 365 subscription version, hardware bundled/pre-installed versions, volume license, educational editions, or versions purchased via the Microsoft Store and Steam.

- Adds support to decode APNG format.
- Adds support to import images from Media Room in Slideshow Creator.
- Improves the compatibility with the retail versions of NewBlue FX plugins.
- Improves the compatibility of MOV, TS, and MPEG-4 video.
- Improves the audio quality of Reverb and Vocal Transformer effects in Audio Editor.
- Improves the audio quality when playing clips with 4-channel audio.
- Improves the video quality when producing to 4K resolution with AMD hardware encoding.
- Fixes the issue that the program crashes when selecting a Sketch Animation object in the preview window with a video in the background.
- Fixes the issue that the program sometimes crashes when producing with AAC audio and SVRT enabled.
- Fixes the issue that the program sometimes crashes when editing title text in the Title Designer.
- Fixes the issue that the program sometimes crashes when editing effect position in Effect Room.
- Fixes the issue that the Produce Range tool sometimes does not work properly.
- Fixes the issue that the resolution field becomes empty when using HEVC custom profile in Produce page.
- Fixes the issue that the produced video becomes distorted with 9:16 HEVC profile.
- Fixes the issue that the custom title templates are deleted when users switching to 21:9 aspect ratio then back to 16:9.
- Fixes the issue that the reversed audio is not reset in Motion Tracker.
- Fixes the issue that imported media is sometimes duplicated when imported into the media library.
- Fixes the issue that the link provided after uploading to YouTube does not link to the uploaded video.
- Fixes the issue that sometimes the UI is truncated when re-editing a title with gradient colors in Title Designer.
- Fixes the issue that some UI is truncated when the Windows display setting is set to a higher scale.
- Fixes the issue that all clips in the timeline will be moved unnecessarily when pasting copied clips via context menu.
- Other minor bug fixes and UX improvements.
