The audio file (connected to video files) does not show. It plays, but I cannot see/edit it. Help?

I have Powerdirector for Mac. The audio file does not show on the audio line. It plays, but i cannot see or edit it. I have no idea why. I tried downloading and reinstalling PD and it still doesn't show the audio file (which is connected to the video file, but is not invisible for some reason). Can someone help me fix this, it is quite frustrating since I cannot complete projects with this problem.

I don't have a Mac but it sounds like the clip's audio is in a format that isn't fully supported by PD. You can drag the clip onto the MediaInfo online page and see the technical details by saving a text file of the results.

You may need to convert the clip using a free third party app like Handbrake, otherwise submitting a support ticket directly to CL would be the best option.

Thanks. It's weird, if I drag the original file down, it still has the audio file attached. So I'm not sure what the problem is. But if anyone faces a similar issue, I simply published an audio file only (.wav) and dragged that onto the audio line so at least I can edit it correctly. Not perfect, but workable.
