with the latest update to PD20, my project is rendering and displaying all my 4K .mov files from iPhone with aliasing lines and bars.
My 1080P and 4K mp4 from Fuju camera are fine.

Has anyone experienced this? When I try to produce in FVRT, it crashes each time. see screenshot.

Hello,

I am not having issue with 4K Mov files from my iPhone here. Can you use MediaInfo with the clip and post the details about it so we can have a look?

Your DXDiag file and a short sample clip would also be helpful to users I am sure.

Cheers

Attached is my stuff. Ever since I upgraded to PD20, this has been an issue along with crashing and no "FVRT" for my producing when I finally get anything edited.

All my .MOV 4K files do this. Once the reduced files are created, this doesn't happen on the .mp4 but when it renders, the lines are there.

Multiple inquiries with Tech Support about crashing, no FVRT, and this new bars/aliasing lines hasn't done anything.

I've done 3 or 4 full uninstall, deleted all my files and preferances, and reinstall with zero luck.

I'm ready to ditch this PC crap and get an M1 Mac with FinalCut.

I have no problem playing avc 2160/60p mov files from the new iPhone13. There are some issues seen in your screen recording. 1. You are playing a hevc 2160/30p mov file from the media library in which the shadow files have not completed on the one you are previewing. The shadow files are all completed on the videos that you are not previewing. 2. Previewing the video on the Timeline may be helpful.

I do not have access to the iPhone13 to record and download a hevc 2160/30p mov file right now. Since the last ios update, it has been difficult (impossible for now) for me to download live photos and videos to a Windows 10 pc. I have to use the iCloud for this. I may have to buy a MacBook pro like you suggested.

Hopefully someone with more knowledge on the iPhone13 will chime in. Hopefully you can get support to escalate the issue for someone to preview a iPhone13 10 second hevc 2160/30p sample clip that you can supply them and also attach here on your next reply.

I agree with what tomasc wrote. It would be great if you could attach a short clip so people could work with it directly. You may need to install the QTLite codec to get Quicktime clips to play properly on your system.

Also SVRT isn't available because PD doesn't produce to Quicktime/.MOV format. You have to have to produce to the same codec and pixel size as your source clips for SVRT to be an option.
