To share with you. I have submitted a suggestion to CL that reads:

When moving to the projects room, can you PLEASE put Video Templates on number 2, so that the video templates only load when I explicitly select that. When moving to the project space I normally want to look for my projects. With the templates on top, it takes a long time before I can get to the projects. Also because the video template editor first starts and needs to be closed.. Changing this will help the ease of working with PD.

I am sure that this request has been put forward before. Maybe repetition helps.
