NewBlue fx users that have registered and subscribed to their mail should find a link to the plugin Filter 5 Refocus for $99 and a code to get it free this month.

Installing it places a new group called NewBlue Filters which consists of 8 plugins. They are Colorize, Dream Glow, Fish Eye, Frame Rate, Light Leak, Soft Focus, Spotlight, and Tilt Shift. Each of the plugins works well in PowerDirector. 3 are in previous packs. 5 are new.

The video demos show that the soft focus plugin which is also in NB essentials I included in the PD365 is used to soften a person’s face to remove wrinkles and blemishes. This may be helpful as there are previous posts and threads about how to accomplish this in the PD Forums.

I have noticed a new requirement now for the installation of this set. Windows 10, 64 bit version is required according to the information and instructions on their website. Here is a link to the collection and demos: https://newbluefx.com/products/filters/refocus/ . One needs to enter the sent code in the NewBlue email if desired.

This is great! Thanks for letting us know 👍

When I visited the linked page, a pop-up window appeared with the free coupon code prominently displayed, and all I had to do was copy and paste it in the order form to get the free plug-in

BTW: the same link I posted on another forum site does not display the popup code.

It looks like that link they sent me included my credentials to get the free plugin. Non subscribers and non registered users need to use one these links: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1323449-REG/newbluefx_skufil5rfc_filters_5_refocus.html#:~:text=NewBlueFX%20Filters%205%20Refocus%20is%20a%20plug-in%20that,also%20be%20used%20from%20within%20NewBlue%20Titler%20Pro.

Or https://videoguys.com/products/newblue-fx-filers-refocus

Or https://newbluefx.com/products/filters/refocus/

to buy the above set from NewBlue.

Interesting. If I scrub out all the personalized data from the link from your email, I still get the pop-up. Here's the clean link: https://newbluefx.com/products/filters/refocus/

None of the links to the commercial sites show any pop-up for me, and it looks like they'd charge nearly full price (around US $95) wihic is a LOT more than free.
