How can I add a text backdrop in Photodirector the same as I can using the title designer in PowerDirector?

You'd think Photodirector would be just as robust as an image editing tool in the text department but I can't find this for the life of me.

Thanks!

The online Help feature is a good place to look for specific tasks. Pressing F1 and searching for Text shows how to use the Text layer, and you can move that layer in front of or in back of other layers as desired.

You may also want to look at the Watermark Creator

Hello killertomato,

As optodata pointed out, the Help file is a good place to start.

In the Edit module, there are quite a few tools & it may be difficult to navigate at first.

You can use the Shape tool to add a shape, then resize & reposition it and adjust properties like opacity.

You can re-order layers simply by dragging & dropping (e.g. to move the background shape under the text layer)
