I am having a problem with the videos from my GoPro HERO 9 Camera SD Card. It is a normal function that it breaks into segments 5:19 seconds. But when I put it in the video editor it can't form on how long the video is. Do you have any suggestions? or settings on this one.

I'm not sure what kind of problem you're having. You should be able to place each GoPro clip on the timeline, one after the other. It doesn't matter how long the duration of each clip is.

You can see the total length of the clips on the timeline by clicking on an empty spot in the timeline then pressing the <End> key . The scrubber will fly to the end and the exact duration will be shown in the time display, like this:

This is the Cyberlink App from my phone. You can see that the videos are all in segments.

I still don't understand what you're asking about. Is the issue with the mobile app or the full desktop editor? Please pick one and let's focus on that.

The screenshot from the full editor shows that you have shadow files turned on and PD has finished creating the one for GH10449 (the icon is green) and you've placed on the timeline. Shadow files aren't ready for the four clips in the green rectangle (all icons are still yellow), but you haven't placed any of them on the timeline so I can't see what the problem is.

It would help if you could explain in more detail what you mean by "But when I put it in the video editor it can't form on how long the video is"?

It may help to share the clips you're having trouble with. You can upload them to OneDrive or Google Drive and paste a publicly shareable link to it here. See this FAQ for more details.

Thank you for being so patient with me. My problem is on the desktop full editor. As you can see on the desktop I only have the GH10449 (this is the file name video from my go pro which has originally is 11:57 minutes long) but when i import it on the editor it will just be 5:19 minutes long.

Can you share that clip like I suggested? Otherwise, please right click on it in the media library, choose View Properties and see what the Original Duration is. Do that again on the timeline clip and see if it's different.

I am assuming that you haven't trimmed the clip at all, and you have simply dragged it from the media library to the timeline and it's not the full duration. Is that correct?

5:19 is the term 5 min 19 seconds used in the GoPro forums for the maximum time length of the 4 GB size limit imposed on the sd card for the continuous 4K h.264 recordings before a new file is created. All these recordings are continuous with no breaks when viewed with the pc GoPro app.

The GoPro videos can be transferred to a phone via bluetooth so that is probably what is seen in the second screenshot. The ! probably just means the bitrate data is not recognized on that phone but it is recognized on the pc. Hope that this helps with the terms used here.
