Is there a larger library of copyright-free music than I see when I look at background music?

Yes. If you have the subscription version (PD365), there are a couple dozen music packs that can be downloaded from the Audio tab in the Cyberlink App Manager and also many choices from Shutterstock.

There are also free clips on DirectorZone and from long time forum contributer Eric Matyas.
