No. Newer versions of PD can import HDR clips but none can produce to it. The official spec sheet shows the supported input/produce formats.

Use File > Rate Us & Provide Suggestions to let them know you like that option.

cyberlinks reply bit of a cop out if you ask me .

Hi John,

Thank you for contacting CyberLink Technical Support.

We understand that you want to know if PowerDirector will be adding
an HDR rendering to PowerDirector 365. We are more than willing to
assist you.

With reference to your query, the PowerDirector now supports 10-bit HDR* video import.

HDR 10-bit BT.2020 (HDR10 and HLG) is converted to SDR 8-bit BT.709 during import.

For more details about the supported format, please check the link below:

https://help.cyberlink.com/stat/help/powerdirector/19/enu/05_01_01_support_file_formats.html?q=HDR10

With
regard to exporting HDR10, we appreciate the suggestion and we have
already forwarded this needs to the related department for
consideration.

Please feel free to contact us back for further clarification or

Does this mean HDR videos recorded with NVIDIA Shadowplay and/or Mirillis Action! can be imported, edited, and exported with the source HDR intact? I understand what the employee's reference to 10-bit HDR video import. Does that carry through all way to export?

No. As I wrote back in May and confirmed in CL's reply shared by Jaybee2786, no existing PD version can produce to HDR.

They say they are aware that customers are looking for this feature and you may want to use Rate Us & Provide Suggestions from PD's File menu to add your voice to the choir.
