Hi,
I would like to knwo if it's possible adding metadata info (title, description, copyright etc) to a video before producing it.

Tried to look for a tool in my PD365 but couldn't find.

Thank you for your support.

You know you can do a lot of that right in Windows for free.

Just right-click on the file, select Properties and then add the metadata under the Details tab.

Thank you Steven,
I know that but hoped there could be more options like for images. On windows the copyright field is not editable though. https://www.pieroannoni.com/

Hi,

No tool in PDR for writing/editing detailed metadata.
You will need to approach Mr. Google and ask for Exiftool or ffmpeg metadata.

Cheers

Did you try that recently, Steven? It is the most elegant solution of course, by lack of an internal PD feature. But, in my (very recent) version of WIndows I do not seem to be able to edit any of the meta data in the details field. Sometimes I can change the rating, and I can do more changes to e.g. JPG files. But that is it. Any hints how to solve that?
I can change many Mp4 files, but no MPG files. Any clues?

It's definitely stilll possible in the latest version of Windows, Wary.

Although it's possible some video files won't allow it. But every time I've hovered over the blank area adjacent a metadata listing it's become available to add the metadata.

Yes, thanks Steven, that is also what is see. I tried in vain with MPG and MKV, and it may be that they are not supported: apparently from what this exiftool supports?
