Importing equirectangular videos into 360 just makes them play as a video in a black void

I have a few 360 video that I want to do some editing with, but when I import them, they just play as a video. I can still look around, but it's just black. Am I doing something wrong while importing?

Hi Laurens Bas -

When you import the 360° equilrectangular video, does it display in the media library with a 360 icon?

Under the preview window, have you clicked the 360 viewer button?
