Video Collage Plugin - Not well integrated into PD?

So I thought I could highlight a couple clips in my timeline, then goto plugins > Video Collage. It seems I cant do that, or I am missing something. When the video collage designer opens, the clips I selected are not there, and the MEDIA pane doesn't include all the tracks in my project. So, I have to hunt and find the clips to insert. Seems like it's more of a standalone product. Am I missing something? I thought it would be more intuitive that it seems to be.

Thanks!

The plug-in is fully integrated. Pixelan, NewBlue Titler Pro and ProDad are examples of external apps, where all of the work is done outside of PD. Most of the plug-ins don't accept any input from the timeline, however, so you can't import clips from there.

As shown in this tutorial, you should see all of your media library content when you upen the Collage Designer. You actually don't have to have any clips in your media libray since it's possible to drag and drop clips directly onto the timeline from File Explorer, but it's easier to use this plug-in if you first import all the clips you want to use.

Ahhh...I have to add media from the media content room not the timeline. Gotcha! Thank you!
