System Crashes on video longer than one hour 46 minutes

I have Power Director 15. I've used it for quite some time successfully. Recently I've had trouble with the system crashing when I get to about one hour and forty minutes. I lose everything after my last manual save. This has happened 3times in about the same place. Is there a limit on how long a video you can make with PD? I am frustrated having to re-edit the same footage over and over again and then losing it again. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Dan

There's no limit, but it sounds like your system is running low on resources while PD is producing. The quickest workaround would be to find a good spot to cut the video somewhere hear the 1:46 mark and use the Range Select tool to highlight that section then use Produce Range to produce just that section.

When that's completed, highlight the next section the same way and produce that. Bring the two completed sections on the timeline and use SVRT to stitch them together.

To figure out what's actually causing the problem, the best way to start would be to follow the steps in the Read Me Before Posting Guide and attach the DxDiag results so we can see how your PC is configured.
