Crop to what I want vs the custom aspect ratios

I have Photodirector 365 and am trying to crop some photos but it seems like it only lets me crop with the aspect ratios instead of being able to manually crop out the exact part I want

each time I am ending up with unwanted parts on the sides or top and bottom

If I try to crop more it starts taking out parts that I want

can someone let me know how to crop out the exact parts that I want from a photo
