There are a number of ways that i can think of. The first would be to use one of the Express Template Packs if you have the subscription version.

You can also add a shape using the Shape tool from the Edit page and place the text on top of it. In many cases, simply adding a border and/or shadow to the text will help it stand out clearly from your background.
