I had to reinstall Cyberlink PowerDirector 365 and the CAM. Audio files are downloaded on the CAM but tracks aren't appearing in the library under Background Music after the reinstallation so I can't access them and can't re-download as far as I can tell. Is there a way to fix this?

Some tracks are in the Sound Effects library so you'll also have to check there.

To uninstall any downloaded packs, right click on them in the CAM and choose Uninstall. You can then reinstall them with PD closed and they should be available when you launch PD again.

I followed the steps you outlined but the tracks still don't appear in the library. I even tried restarting the whole computer, but the tracks are still missing. Is there anything else I can try before going to Cyberlink support?

Which tracks specifically aren't showing up?

It's all ok, got the tracks back. I don't know how, I was importing media files and suddenly the tracks appeared (tracks downloaded to external drive instead of the C directory maybe??) So it's all good, and thanks for your imput! I'll remember your instructions should it happen again. Which it probably will since anything computer or electronic hates me and the feeling is mutual! Have a wonderful day!

I've got to piggyback on this topic:

I've just installed CAM and PD 365 (bought the one-year subscription today). Via CAM I downloaded some background music. Unfortunately, they did not show up on my library (neither in the background music nor in the sound-effect library). I already uninstalled the audio files via CAM, made sure PD is closed and downloaded it again. No luck. I than uninstalled the audio files and PD, re-installed PD, re-installed the audio files and started PD. No luck again. Rebooting PC didn't help either. I just cannot see the audio files in the music libraries! What else can I do...?

Never mind. After several times uninstalling, deleting all associated files that were left, cleaning registry and so on before re-installing didn't work, I used system recovery to get the system back a couple of days before I installed PD. After this I did a clean install of CAM and then PD and now all works...

I don't know what the problem was. Maybe because I had downloaded the free version first where there are only a very limited amount of music-files and upgraded to the subscription afterwards. I don't know...

Thanks for the update. It's long been strongly recommended that the trial version be uninstalled before installing a paid version, and that may also be good advice for the new free version (aka PD Essential).
