in director 16 there are two white markers side by side in audio track where two clips join, what re they can find any reference in help thank you

They adjust the volume of the clip. If you hoover the mouse over the dot it will turn red and you can drag up or down to change volume level at that location. One can add more control points to the audio to say fade out a clip or fade in the next clip.
