Merging a project's media files with the sample library files option.

Hi,

After selecting "File" to upload an existing project, a box comes up asking if I would like to merge my project's library files with the current media files in the library. (I can't think why anyone would want to do this), but if I select "Don't show again", would the sample library files never reappear, or would I be stuck with them? Powerdirector 18.

The tick box just refers this this dialogue. So if you select it, it will always use either your no or yes response, whatever you do next. So if you select no, you won't be asked again on the new project and you will get the do not merge feature. Just the opposite if you check yes. Sample clips will always be loaded if you have that set in pref.

To reset this question dialogue, you would have to do pref > Confirmation > Reset. However, that resets any confirmation question you may have answered previously, it's a very dumb global reset vs unique control over individual settings.
