PowerDVD 19 "promotions" window, sorry your version of powerdvd does not support this feature

Any idea how to get past the "promotion" pop up when playing a standard DVD in PowerDVD 19 - or trying to. The promotion message syas "Sorry your version of powerdvd does not support this feature" - which is rubbish, played the affected DVDs loads in the past. Can't close the window, just returns you to the play button and the only other option is the buy button for powerdvd 20.


Is this just a money making attempt to force users to pay for an upgrade? Crazy

You didn't provide any of the requested information, so kind of hard to tell what is going on. PowerDVD versions don't expire, except for the Essential or trial versions.

So please let us know which exact edition you are using and your DXDiag file for good measure:

Thanks. Rather than mess around and taking the time to try and resolve this I just downloaded the essentials version of 20. Seems to work. Just not a very helpful message or options.
