Where do I download these transitions?

Hi I just signed up today for the 365 suite so first time user but familiar with movie editing in other programs. I saw this article but where or how do I actually go to download and install these transitions?

They are installed by default in Powerdirector 365 I believe. Just go to the transitions room and click on the Distortion, Glitch, and Geometic tags

Thanks - so I guess there are some effects, etc. you need to install and update and others that are added automatically.

Yes, most you have to download and install using the Cyberlink Application Manager. Just go to the Effect Packs section.

There is a list of all the packs, what effects are in them, and where they are installed here:

So, having downloaded a number of these freebies, some questions:

  1. how to install? just double click the file or is there somthing else?

  2. does the install sort them (into frames, transitions, beackgrounds etc) in the PD UI, or is that a manual process. If the latter, how?

  1. Yes the double click.

  2. Yes automatically placed in the right library room.
