How do I fix a frozen screen in my cyberlink powerdirector project?
The project i was editing just froze all of a sudden and nothing is working.
Please i need help 😢

It depends on what is frozen. There are so many possible factors.

Is your timeline frozen? Does your timeline move but your preview is frozen? Is the program locked up completely? Is the entire computer frozen or just PowerDirector?

What are your computer specs? What processor do you have with how much RAM? How much free, clean, defragmented space is on your hard drive?

Your issues could also be related to the codecs at work on your video file. There's no blanket answer that fits.

I think my timeline is frozen and the program is completely locked. This is the second time it's happening when I'm editing a project. I just want a shortcut to fix it without having to turn off or restart laptop 😢
I'm trying not to lose all the work I've already completed this far

That helps a little, but it would be much more helpful if you could please follow the steps in the Read Me Before Posting sticky thread and attach the DxDiag file so we can see the details of your computer.

To ensure that you don't lose most of your work, set the auto save interval to 2 or 3 minutes under Preferences | Project and change the save folder if needed to make it easy to find.
