Audio Cuts Out Before End Of Track

I'm having a hugely annoying problem with PowerDirector 16. I'm making a series of videos which contain an audio track of narration, with a still image. On one particular video, the audio track goes silent just before the end, cutting out the last word of the narration. I've tried extending the still image further than the end of the audio track, but it still cuts out just before the end, missing off the last word of the narration for some inexplicable reason. Can anyone help with this? yell

Does your narration play completely outside of PD? If your narration is a mp3 file, you might be better off converting to a WAV file with like Audacity and then using this WAV file in PD.

If that's not it, what is the source of your video? If it's got like variable framerate for instance you might have to convert your video in like HandBrake to just a common constant framerate file and use that in PD for a better editing experience.
