My Laptop uses a combination of my i7 CPU and my GTX1060 GPU when editing and rendering. It all works really smoothly, and the renering is fast and accurate, but I'm curious as to how PD18/Windows decides which processor handles which part of the process?

You probably have the GPU doing the decode, set in pref. As you always write, you're happy and you love what you have, so I'd suggest you leave as is.

If not, post some detailed charts showing the GPU performance load you see and when.
