Casting from PowerDVD19 to Amazon Fire Cube (to TV)

Hi

I am trying to cast my videos from Power DVD19 to the Amazon Fire Cube - using the Power DVD app. on the Cube. The option to 'Play on' the Fire Cube is not appearing on the Power DVD drop down menu, and I was wondering if it because the Cube is connected through the Ethernet connection. (I believed that it would be a more stable signal).

I note on your instructions that 'wireless' is stated (in brackets) and wondered if the action will only work if the connection is a wireless one? Otherwise I am at a loss as to why it doesn't work.
