hi, does anyone know a way (or if it's even possible) to output a file with the HDR intact please?
i can import the HDR files and edit them no problem, but i cant see ant HDR optiond in the produce section and it seems to render the file out as SDR with a HDR-SDR conversion

You basically answered your own question.

While PD18/365 can import various kinds of 10-bit clips, it can only produce 8-bit video, which is why you don't see any HDR or 4:2:2 output profiles. All currently supported input and output formats are shown on this spec sheet page.

You can certainly request 10-bit producing capability by going to File, Rate Us & Provide Suggestions, but there's no way to know how long it might take for that new feature to become available.
