How to chose video accelerator to openGL or Direct3d11 during playback of Blu-ray media?

I can Only see powerdvd using DXVA(DirectX Video Acceleration) but no other options are left!

what renderer is used in powerdvd 19?
is it possible to use for example direct3d 11 or opengl like vlc media player?

It seems the answer is no.

If the current playback feature works smoothly without frame drops, do we really need acceleration-based functions for common 30 fps 60 fps video playback as much as graphic processing intensive designing, gaming, or video production?
