Thanks very much for the screen recording! When I use the Shape Designer as your video shows, I can confirm that the
Ease in keyframe settings are not saved correctly. It doesn't matter if I type in a value, use the up/down arrows, or drag the slider. Even turning the
Ease in effect on or off is not saved once you exit the Shape Designer.
The good news is that you can modify the original template and change the settings there to whatever you want, and when you drag the revised template to the timeline, the settings are correct.
Another option while the object is on the timeline is to
change something else about that keyframe, such as the location. If you also change the
Ease in duration before saving, the new values are kept. You actually only need change the position by a single pixel in either direction, then set the new
Ease in value, and then change the position back to the original value before saving.
This is clearly a bug, and it should be reported to Cyberlink
here. The good news is that there are a couple of other ways to get around the issue for now.
