Hi Everyone,

every so often Youtube keeps changing their license agreements... I just got a licese agreement update again, but it s so full of jargon it is difficult to understand. My concern is for video uploading, so I wanted to ask these questions regarding the. I am just new and have not uploaded any videos...

1) What restrictions apply to me?
2) What is the length of the videos I can upload?
3) Can I still add links to my videos?
4) Can I still click on "monetize video" even if I am new?
5) What format and size of video am I allowed?

Thanks so much

you shoulda asked your questions to Youtube Help.

here's my penny.

  1. everything.

  2. as a cherry, upto 15minutes. become a famous youtuber then upto 128GB or more...

  3. yes.

  4. NO. in order to monetize your videos you gotta have 1000+ subscribers to your channel and they've watched 4000 hrs+ of your uploaded videos. must state the video is or isn't made for the kids. if not you're LIABLE by the Feds. youtube recently paid millions of dollars to Feds... BLUF is you can not monetize videos made for kids!

  5. upto 8K. Recommended upload encoding settings & Video and audio formatting specifications .

living in US of A, you can not make money with Powerdirector. it's for personal use only. far as I know you can with WMV container only. if i am wrong, then Sonic will correct me... ^^

oh happy happy joy joy.
