I'm wondering if anyone has encountered Runtime errors and what fixes have they tried? I've tried doing the uninstall and reinstall a few times now to no avail. I'm willing to try other fixes if anyone has any ideas.

I'm really frustrated with this program! I can't produce anything because it stalls about 20 seconds into the production, whether it be to Youtube, a .WMV (or other format) file, etc.

I don't know if it will help but I may have experienced a similar problem with my current project. I dropped a clip into a PIP track and when I played the project it appeared to stall at that clip. I found out the problem was what appears to be a botched import from my camera. For some reason there was 2 minutes of a single frame at the front of the clip. The third effort to import the clip worked and everything is playing correctly now. Hope that helps.

Mine was giving the Runtime error when I was trying to produce the movies, either sending them to Youtube or converting them to a different format. I installed the latest graphics drivers and the new DirectX drivers, and that problem went away.

Now, I have a new problem!! PD8 is crashing, without an error message, when I'm looking through the menus to import new media files for the current project. It does this pretty frequently now.

Explorer also started crashing a lot while PD8 was running. Not sure if that is related, but it could be.

I have seen PB8 crash a couple times, once when I was importing media. It hasn't been a serious problem yet any way. I try and remember to save often.

I don't have an answer for you but I am contacting CyberLink about the issue.
I to have had the RunTime error and this matter needs sorting.
