testing power director, audio problem, error message

Hi, I was very interested in buying the cyberlink power director, so I downloaded the test version. It didn´t start too well. I cannot even import any of my clips shot with the canon xa10. I get an audio error message.

the details of the clips:
AVCHD Video, 1440x1080, 7489kBit, 25 frames, audio 256kBit, stereo, 48hKz

error message attached (in german)

if anyone knows what´s going on here and why I am not able to use the software at all, please let me know. I was going to get the subscription with the black friday discount, but if I cannot even use any of my footage, then I´ll have to look elsewhere.
