critical files are missing, please reinstall powerdirector!!!???

Ok, I just uninstalled Powerdirector 6, and then reinstalled it. Right after I put in the CD key, it says PowerDirector is now activated. Then when I click ok, I get the message "critical files are missing, Please re-install PowerDirector". I've repeated this twice with the same result.

Anybody know what happened?

Donald - Did you do a complete uninstall -- it will make a difference, I think.

Did you download using IE? IE is good
Do not use Chrome. Chrome is great for surfing, but not downloads from Cyberlink.
