Hello,
I'm trying to use an express project.
However , when I put my media the project does not show he same effects the express template preview

I have downloaded the express project from https://directorzone.cyberlink.com/detail/132776459

In the first transition you can see that the title middleline expands to both directions (up and down)
https://www.loom.com/share/aa98df7197f34932835ce7087217b69e

However , when I put my images in the express project , I do not see this transition

What am I doing wrong ?
How do I get the same transition between the first and second images ?

Thanks
Sagi

You already claimed in another post that you do not have that sliding lines horizontal transition used here in this Express project in your media library that other users have. You should already have the CAM: https://www.cyberlink.com/downloads/application-manager/download_en_US.html . See this tutorial and get that content pack with that transition for free: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YLisGhYAUUE .

However , the transitions in the express project does not work....
Any idea ?

btw , How do I know what are the prerequisites for an express project (which transitions , titles ect. are needed for this express project to work).
Any documentation ?

Please read this sticky: https://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/80133.page . You can supply a screenshot of the popup window to show which version of PowerDirector you have. If it is a latter version you should have the transition. If it is an earlier one then it may not be included.

You may need to contact Cyberlink support and show proof of purchase and registration to get the content pack. First we need to know if it PD18 or 365 that you actually have or a differnt version like the trial or an earlier version.

Well , I'm currently evaluating the product so I havnt purchaed it, (Downloaded the latest version 2 weeks ago)
If you are saying that the reason that the express project doesnt work is because I'm using the trial , so thats fine...
I'm trying to play and understand more about the product evaluate some templates , packs , transitions that I like.

I'll appriciate if you could tell me if the reason it doesnt work is cause this is a trial.
btw , which features should and shouldnt work in the trial ? (any documentation ?)

Thanks

Yes. Click on the + Download Information link here. Note that I've linked to the US version. If you're located elsewhere, change the location at the top right of the webpage to view the correct list for your locale.

Let me understand.
The reason the express project doesnt not work is because i'm using the trial and there is "Limited templates and effects. ?

Thanks

I imagine so. I can't run the trial version without uninstalling the full version, so I don't have a direct way of testing out your exact project.

One way to proceed is to purchase the full version and get rid of all the limitations. Cyberlink has a 30 day money-back guarantee, so you can get a full refund if you're not happy after using the program for a month.

I have purchased PowerDirector 365 but I still not able to view the express project as expected.
It looks like like I'm missing something here....

The first transition is still not happening it shows in the express project.

Any idea ?

Yes. I am so sorry we missed the simple issue that the first transition in the downloaded project is only a placeholder. It's not the actual transition used in the demo. I think that's very misleading, and it means that the project will actually work in the trial version, but you have to manually change it.

I didn't see the right transition in your downloaded list, but you were on the right track. I think it's this one: Vertical Open Edge Ease, although you can use any transition you like here.

After you've downloaded and installed the transition, place the Express Project on the timeline like you've done before, and now drag the new transition directly onto the "No Effect" placeholder and it will match the demo video:

Since you've already paid for full version of PD18, you have 30 days to evaluate it and can request a full refund if you're not happy with it. There are no limitations (like the trial version had), so now you can finally spend some time editing instead of trying to figure out what's going on with the Express Project!

Sorry,
But one more thing...
The first transition is actually NOT "Vertical Open Edge Ease,"
Pay attention that the transition in the Expres Project is not the same one. It opens half the way , then eases and only then continues to oopen....
Do I need to download a different transition ?
How do I find it ?

Thanks

It is that one, but they modified it. You can do the same thing by following the steps in this short video:

The only thing that's important is to make sure that both of the middle keyframes are at exactly the same value, or the bar will slowly move up or down during the pause.
