This is good news that old PDVD 5 can run well in windows 10. I believe that I had a licensed oem version back in 2004 installed and running in my Pentium 3 500 mhz gaming machine with a Nvidia TNT2 Ultra graphics card.
Windows 10 has a trouble shooter and you can access and use it to set it for windows xp compatibility. Depending on your windows version it may let you go back to win 98 compatibility if you have the 32 bit version of windows 10.
