Hi

Ive just build my first HTPC , but im having a very strange and very annoying problem with my powerDVD software

When i put a Blu ray or HD DVD in my drive and start powerDVD i get a msg that windows is changing to basic colorspace , now sometimes it works fine but 9 times out of 10 the blacks on the screen will flicker from dark grey to black on certain parts of the film . spiderman 3 on blu ray has been the worst so far but other films do it too , Fearless HD DVD

Ive used powerDVD7 which i got free with my LG Combi drive and powerDVD9 Ultra and i have the same problem , ive unchecked the aero option in powerDVD9 but dosnt do anything .

Now im really confussed where the problem lies , is it the software , is it my GPU or is it the GPU driver

Ive tried 2 different drivers , inc the latest and i still have the same problem

Im using a 42" TH42PWD7 Panasonic Plasma , via VGA at 1280x720

Windows 7 7100 Evaluation Version
ATI HD 4850 XFX GPU
Driver Version 8.640.0.0

Please help me as this is driving me crazy now

Thanks
