I am working with a reunion which will bring people from various states to one location, our high school town. Would like to be able to show a path they take from their home to that location. The basis of my thought is the flight path with dotted lines in the movie "Sleepless In Seattle". Would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.

I've used both:

Route Generator: http://www.routegenerator.net/
Google Earth Pro on the PC, not web version: https://support.google.com/earth/answer/148174 provides the steps

Try a web search using the words animated route maps. .

There is a host of information and different methods.

I use an app that produces about 500 frames then combines them into an avi file. I thing the name is Routegen but could be corrected. Not near my PC for a week or so, so cannot verify name.
