PD 16 Audio Sync Problem during Production

Hello,

I'm experiencing a problem with audio sync when I try to produce video files with PD 16.

I have captured some files with an HD capture device that records on mp4 format. What I'm trying to do is to produce files of smaller size, either mp4 or mkv, by editing the parts of the video that are not needed.

The problem is that although the captured file is perfectly synced, the output file is losing sync as the video progresses. I have tried to produce both edited and unedited files but the output is still suffering the same problem.

I can't seem to think of any solution here, as I am producing from a single file, without using any additional audio tracks except for the audio track that's into the source video file.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Nick

Hello, this happened to me when I was changing a 1440 60fps file to 1080 30 fps clips to output

the audio wandered. I fixed it by choosing the same output file size and fps (frames per second) as the original

when I mix various frame rates into one project I have to pause on edit to line them up (even after using audio sync)
