Adding an Oval Mask to a Photo
[Post New]
I am trying to add a transparent oval mask that will knock out the rest of the image. Somewhat like it is in an oval frame. It seems like this should be easily accomplished but I have been unable to make this work, despite watching the tutorials and reading the documentation.

Hello Kdavis3858,

Welcome to the PhotoDirector forum laughing

The easiest way to do that is in the Layers module, & the simplest way to show how is with a screen capture. In this example I used an image of a circle (which I've attached). There are other ways to go about it, if this doesn't suit.

If you're not using PhD10, your interface may be slightly different, but I trust the screen capture is self-explanatory enough.
