How to replace images in Titles?

Is there a way to replace an image in a title with a different image, while keeping the existing image's properties (size, position, keyframes, etc)?

On the timeline, you can simply drag a new image over an existing one and select the option to replace, but I do not see that ability in Titles.

I'm stuck adding the images to a Title because I don't see any way to have images appear over the top of existing Title tracks. So many limitations...

It has some logic to it.

Titles put in the title track will be on top of everything, view it as a special track for that effect. However, a title put in a video track are only on top of lower video tracks. So this behavior of the title is the same as video and/or pics. So a pic in track 3 will be on top of a title in track2
