Anyone got an answer to combining 4:3 photos, cropped to 16:9 (ie 4:3 letterbox format uncompressed), with 16:9 video (which will be compressed?) in PD5. Produced projects are not retaining the correct ratios when shown on screen, with the photos being stretched to the same extent as the compressed 16:9 (anamorphic) video images. Is there a simple answer - or do all the new digital camcorders present the same problem. I'm planning to produce the photos, project them and film the images to then capture in 16:9 but this seems to be a whole load of messing for what was quite simple when I was using a camera capable of fiming "Cinema" mode - i.e masked 4:3 Seeking wisdom - finding fluff - but wise fluff!
