Can I uninstall the Screen Reorder software? Will that affect the PowerDirecter 17 program? Can I reinstall it later, if I want to? I am very new to this, and wonder if the space the screen recorder program is using on my computer is worth it, if I don't plan to use the screen recorder. I wanted only a video making program. Thank you. (Very limited knowledge of hardware and software. Trying to educate myself.)

This is a simple and easy to answer question, but it actually has two answers! The bad news is that you cannot uninstall the screen recorder separately from PD. They are a package deal.

The good news is that the screen recorder app is tiny (only about 1MB, or 0.001GB), so it isn't going to prevent you from storing other things on your C: drive. In all honesty though, there are a total of about 100MB (0.1GB) of support files needed for screen recorder to operate, and more than half of that size is taken up by language support files.

If you wanted to free up 50MB of space, you could use File Explorer to go to this folder C:\Program Files\CyberLink\ScreenRecorder2\Language and delete everything there except Enu (or any other language you want to keep)
