MPEG4 lässt sich nicht starten

Hallo zusammen,

habe nach dem Update auf PowerDVD 18 das Problem, dass sich MPEG4 Videos nicht mehr direkt aus PowerDVD heraus öffenen lassen.

Was mich nun irritiert ist, dass die Videos starten, wenn sie aus dem Windows-Explorer heraus über "<Rechte Maustaste> / Öffnen mit / ..." gestartet werden. Das funktioniert mit dem Windows Media Player und auch mit Power DVD 18.

Mit PowerDVD 17 gab es das Problem nicht.

Windows 10 und Power DVD 18 sind auf dem aktuellen Patchlevel.

Weiß jemand Rat?

I had a similar issue. Maybe this helps. Seems PowerDVD 18 has an issue with UNC network paths like \\server\Media\.
I needed to map the network share to a drive letter in Windows. For example: M:\Media. Then the indexing was much faster and the playback issues disappeared.
