I installed power director appon my chromebook and it works okay so far. It only shows files on my chromebook. Since chromebook has limited storage I download the videos that I hope to edit onto a flash drive. Is there a way to access and edit those videos with power director other than moving them to my chromebook storage?

Thank you

There used to be a forum for the PD mobile app but I don't see it anymore.

I don't have a Chromebook, but when I install the app on my Galaxy phone it sees all the content on both my internal and external SSDs as well as on Google Drive. Was the external drive connected when you opened the PD app? Maybe try connecting the external drive with PD open and see if it recognizes any new content.

I restarted with the drive already in and it still doesn't see it. PD works good on chromebook but wanting to use multiple video files is difficult with limited space.

Appreciate any thoughts.

Thank you.

Chromebooks do some things well -- but some things not so much.

Video editing is something I would not expect it to do well. It just doesn't have the power or storage.

That's my opinion anyway. You're going to drive yourself crazy trying.
