PhotoDirector 10 displays splash screen then doesnt load

Windows 10, PhotoDirector 10. When launching program, the splash screen appears and the .exe is running in task manager. After about 4 seconds, the splash screen dissapears and the .exe stops. Nothing else running, no messages in event viewer, nothing.

I've uninstalled, reinstalled, disabled AV/Firewall, etc etc

Anyone ever seen this? I can't seem to find any Cyberlink logs to help identify why the program won't load.

This is going to be an issue with your specific system.

Please go to the <<Read Me>> sticky post at the top of the PhD Forum index and post your DxDiag results. You can also open an Administrator-level command prompt from Win10's Start or Search menu and type in sfc /scannow to run Windows' system file checker. It will diagnose and try to repair any damaged system files it finds, and corrupted system files have been known to cause problems like this in the past.

Not sure what the problem was, but I created a new Windows profile and it loads fine. So, something was messed up with my profile.
