Power dvd 18 for 360 video viewing

I have just got a 360 camera and am having trouble finding anything to play or view footage, power dvd18 lists 360 photo & video viewing, has anyone actually used power dvd18 to view 360 photos & videos, if so how well does it handle them.

I did try using my power dvd15, but it does not play properly and tried using power director 16 to edit, but it also doesn`t work properly it imports the video turned on it`s side.

Do you stitch the 360 video first using your 360 camera tool?
Before stitching, the 360 video/photo is not viewable in 360 view using "other" viewers and players.

There is no good way for raw 360 video stithcing without your camera manufacturer's assistance (e.g. the official camera tool that is shipped with your camera.)

Check that if your 360 video is already stitched first.
