I'm a long-time PowerDirector user who typically upgrades every 2 years or so. I currently have PowerDirector 15 and am considering a move to the 365 subscription. Since I'm basically 2 versions behind I'm toying with the idea of upgrading to PowerDirector 17 now with possible plans to go to 365 down the road. That way, if I decide after a year that the subscription based approach is not for me, I will have a more recent version to fall back on. (I guess I could go to 365 now and then if I change my mind after a year, could get the latestet non-subscription version at that time.)

Looking for feedback on my thouight process.

BTW, I am not interested in the Director Suite as I use other software to manage my photos and related editing.
