I've never used Express Projects, but one way to get the music is to produce the Express Project, and then import the produced track into the timeline. You can unlink the audio and video and just keep the music.

You can also access PD's built-in tracks from this location to see if you can find something suitable, possibly even the same song:

The music you hear is only for previewing the express project only. It was created by a professional to demonstrate what you can do. It doesn’t exist if you put it on the timeline because it exist only in the Preview.wmv located in your PowerDirector Content Premium folders/ExpressProjects/*/Preview.wmv. As optodata suggested, you can locate it and drag it to your timeline or media library for use. I have to say that the music is quite good for a demo.

I've tried something else. In Windows I went to the directory "Powerdirector" and I've been looking for wma files. There were a lot of them in Powerdirector. I've put them in a separate directory and listened to them all. Most of the music in express projects, menu's etc. are now in that file, so my "problem" is for 95% solved. Some parts of music, such as some christmas express projects I couldn't find in my selfmade directory. Indeed the music is very good for a demo, that's why I wanted to have them in mu projects.
