Greetings, I imported my video avi file to the media file area. I then dragged the file down to the main area. Here is the problem: I cannot see a seperate area for the "audio" that goes along with the video.

I have no problem with I drag down a mpg file.

Any ideas?

hello
i find in pd7 that if i bring the avi file and extract audio a avi wave file is created
and when i insert both the avi video and the wave onto the time line and activate the the wave the original avi sound track opens and can be edited
hop this works in pd 8
