I would like to import a new font into PhotoDirector9 to use as a photo signature and the range of fonts available as standard are not that as exciting as far as I am concerned. I have located and downloaded a font from https://www.dafont.com/
Is there a way to do this please?
Apologies if this is answered somewhere else but a search did not bring it up for me, however a link to any relevant thread would be most appreciated.
If you install any font on your PC, it should automatically be available in PhD. Having said that, there have been instances of particular font types not showing up in the Watermark Creator. This occurs with some .otf (open type) fonts, not .ttf (true type).
It is possible to convert fonts between .otf & .ttf, if that's an issue.
The font I downloaded was .otf and had showed up in other programs (Paint, MS Word etc) but not in PhD, so therein lies my problem as you correctly identified. I have found an online converter to convert fonts between .otf & .ttf at https://everythingfonts.com/otf-to-ttf and it worked and imported the .ttf perfectly.
