Unable to cast

Hi,

I have PowerDVD 18 Ultra v 18.0.1815.62 and I use it to cast videos on my android TV box (Xiaomi Mi Box 3 compatible Google Cast/Chromecast).

A few days ago, all run perfectly. On Power DVD, I played a video, choose "play to" and I had two choices "VR headset" and "MiBox 3".

Yesterday, "Mi Box 3" is not displayed. I'm unable to cast anythings since Mi Box is no more known by Power DVD.

With Google Chrome and VLC, I can cast without any issue....
(with my android phone, the cast also run)

I uninstalled and install Power DVD, applied the last parch (1815.62) but it's the same things. The Xiaomi no longer appear in the "play to"....

Could you help me ?

Massive issues are there, and except for offical Google apps, many apps "google cast" did not work or work instably.
Use a Chromecast stick (if you have one) directly, and check if the feature works comparing to MiBox.

Yes I updated the MiBox to Android Oreo, but I did that in july... But during 1 month 1/2 all works perfectly.
The cast function stop to works one week ago only.

I have any issue with other software to detect and use this function (VLC or Google Chrome, my android phone...)

I enabled the UpnP funtion of KODI (in the MiBox 3) and now, Power DVD displays the KODI server : it works....but it's not the Google cast function itself.

Sometimes (but seldom) Power DVD display the MiBox and I can cast my video, so I wonder if it was not a firewall issue. I use Kasperky Internet security 2019 and MalwareBytes 3.51. In settings, I excluded all exe files of PowerDVD (Powerdvdagent.exe, castingstation.exe...) but nothing change...

powerdvd 18 does not have new version update in this month.
If the first time the issue happened 1 week ago, there could be something else caused the problem.

Try reset your Mibox 3 if you don't have many apps installed that need to keep custom data.
