Hello there.
Any transition in use, incoming clip starts too late, it's seen frozen for about 1 second.

The transitions in the app appears to be of the cross behavior and works well when used with images on the right of a video. There is no way to change it to overlap that I could find. I would not use transitions like in your situation or wait for next major build and announcement.
